Sep 12, 2016 10:29 AM in response to RachelleSherby deggie,★HelpfulSince those are green bubbles it looks like you are having SMS problems. You might want to contact your cell provider and have them check the provisioning on your iPhone.

Sep 12, 2016 10:33 AM in response to deggieby RachelleSher,Thank you! What denotes whether a text is sent via iMessage or SMS? I was in strong wifi when this happened and I was LTE . .. it did not matter. I went to the Genius bar and they did a hard reset. Now everyone is getting my text from my iCloud account vs. my cell number AND this "null" problem is still happening but only when I use "Hey Siri"!! So weird!
Do you really think Verizon can help?
Yours, Rachelle

Sep 12, 2016 10:34 AM in response to RachelleSherby deggie,If you have your iPhone set to send as SMS if iMessage is not available it will do so. On the picture you added does that person have an iPhone or some other model phone?

Sep 12, 2016 10:46 AM in response to deggieby RachelleSher,They are iPhone users. Non of the genius bar peeps ever saw what was happening with my texts! They were in shock. I tested it in front of them and it did same behavior! I've been using Hey Siri since day one, and this is the strangest thing!

Sep 12, 2016 10:47 AM in response to RachelleSherby deggie,Did they have you try turning off iMessage in your settings and then logging back into iMessage?
You may also need to Restore your iPhone from your backup.

Sep 12, 2016 10:55 AM in response to deggieby RachelleSher,They did not tell me to sign out of iMessage . . But I will.
As far as restoring from a back up, I spoke to them about it but have not decided to do so yet. To do that I'll need to wipe my phone, correct?
Thank you! Rachelle

Sep 12, 2016 10:58 AM in response to RachelleSherby deggie,★HelpfulI would definitely try logging out of iMessage first, logging back in and then in Settings > Message check your send from settings.
Yes, it will wipe your iPhone but that is why you need to back it up before you attempt it.
