Q: My disabled Ipad 3 is not being recognized by my computer after it completed the latest update. please help
Hi. My Ipad 3 was disabled after multiple attempts from my little boy putting in the wrong passcode. This Ipad was recently synced and backed up to ITunes on my current pc. I started to do the restore which was suggested by iTunes help and it suggested to update my ITunes version and my ipad to the current IOS version. After updating and restarting, my pc will not recognize my ipad to setup sync or to restore it to factory settings. My iPhone does sync to ITunes, but iTunes does not recognize the Ipad.
iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 9.3.5

If you entered the passcode incorrectly too many times this is the normal procedure to restore:
