Q: Getting rid of warning icons in print dialog

Is there a way to get rid of the warning icons that appear before the printer's name?  If I have a paper jam, or there's low ink, etc., I get the yellow warning triangle.  Clicking on the triangle, I'm taken to the printer's status box where I will see "Paper Jam."  But after clearing the paper jam, and with the printer back up and running, I still see the triangle, along with the message in the printer's status box that there's a paper jam.  How can I erase this message?
