Q: Game Center - Not 100% Working

I've recently purchased a new iPhone SE, Rose Gold and so far it's great, apart from one small detail: Game Center. I have successfully logged into Game Center with my Apple ID, and have been earning points by completing quests in certain games, but, a few of my friends have tried Friend Requesting me, and I have requested a few people, but on my "Friends" tab, nothing seems to show, apart from the message: "No Friends - Enable iCloud Contacts and Facebook in Settings to get personalised friend recommendations." I have already enabled these Settings, cleared Game Center from my multi-tasks, logged in and out of Game Center, restarted my iPhone numerous times and read dozens of forums online. Nothing works. My Game Center is important to me as I love to see the ranks, points and quests I have/have not completed and would very much appreciate if someone could help me out a little bit?

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities, and congratulations on your new iPhone! Getting a new iPhone is very exciting. 

     

    Based on your post, it appears that nothing appears to show on the Game Center Friends tab, and it is prompting you to enable iCloud Contacts in settings. You have already enabled, but it is still giving you this message.  I definitely want to make sure that you can use Game Center on your new iPhone. This is an app that I use a lot and enjoy. I'm happy to assist you in finding a resolution to this issue. 

     

    I see that your new iPhone is currently running iOS 9.3.4. I advise to please use the following article to get the latest iOS software updates:

    Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

     

    Once you've updated the iOS software, please test Game Center again, and see if you get the same result.
