Winclone Updating partition table failed

Hello,

I changed my old Hard Drive Disk with a brand new SSD on my iMac.

The internal optical disk has a failure, I cannot install manually Windows 7 (have you a solution ?)

I have thus bought a Win Clone licence to copy my old hdd's bootcamp to put on my new SSD.

I have created manualy a partition (MS-DOS FAT 32) named Bootcamp SSD.

I have created a winclone image through my old hard disk and I have restored my winclone image.

Unfortunately, I've got an error message when it's finished : Updating partition table failed

Question : Is it possible to resolve this problem easily ? All datas are inside the new SSD disk, it's just a partition problem.

Thanks in advance for your help.

David

Hi David,

Updating the partition table occurs at the end of the restore process and can fail if running OS X 10.11 or above and System Integrity Protection (SIP) is enabled. There is a support article about SIP and how to temporarily disable it before restoring the image. If that isn't the issue, please send an email to support@twocanoes.com and include the log file. From the Help menu select Send Logs and attach the file to your message. Thanks.
