Sep 12, 2016 11:30 AMby ChrisJ4203,With a new laptop and fresh installation of iTunes, that does not have any of your music in it. You would need to copy your library from the other laptop that you synced your library to the iPod with. Music cannot appear in the iTunes library without it being on the laptop. It is not store at Apple, unless you are using Apple Music. Music on the iPod also does not sync from the iPod to iTunes. Sync is only one-way, from iTunes to the iOS device.
If all of your music is purchased, you can download it again via iTunes. If not, then you would need a 3rd party product to get the library off the iPod and to iTunes.

If all the synced media like apps and music are already in the iTunes library of the new computer just backup to iTunes and restore from that backup.
