Q: photos for mac - export shared photos
In the "Photos" app. How can I export photos and video from a shared folder to my desktop? When I try to do it the options in the "Export" dropdown are greyed out.

Photos for Mac
You have to import them to Photos first - select in the shared album and right click (control click) and import - once they are imported then you can edit, use in projects, export or do anything with them.
