Q: Gmail does not down load all emails indicates that they are being downloaded on the screen but do not come through..Help

Not all emails on Gmail are being downloaded...get mail indicates they are coming through but do not appear on screen....do not know what is the problem....I have been sent emails that I know of but they failed to come through
