If you purchased the machine from Apple, you can still use phone support - but realize that their ability to help you may depend on your being able to replicate the issue - which in your case might be difficult.
However, I'd suggest trying to record the problem if you can, and describe it in painstaking detail (i.e., "on boot, machine blinked on and off for 25 seconds; I noticed the same thing on 9/10, 9/1, 8/25, 8/24, etc. I haven't noticed any other software or hardware problems."
Getting into the habit of writing a diary of this kind of issue might help another user to come up with an answer.
