Safari crashes on open. Errors are:

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)

Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000023.

I already downloaded the newest update: 9.1.3, removed flash, removed known malware with Malwarebytes. I would re-install the os, but i originally downloaded it as an upgrade, and don't know what filename to look for to try to do it over. I may or may not have a backup. If I do, are there instructions for that kind of restore somewhere?

Thanks.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5), 13" retina, 16gb
