Transfer music from Itunes on PC to iPhone

Hello All,

First of all,I`m new to Apple family and so far been using Android.

So you may find few questions quite basic.

I`ve been trying to Transfer music from Itunes on PC to iPhone.

Running the latest version of iTunes for Windows 7.

Tried the following:

- Drag and drop doesnt works.

- Added the songs folders to the library

- Can transfer the music files only using VLC app sharing. But then the file run only in VPC and not on Apple Music app

- Is it possible to have music in folders?

Any suggestion and what are the best option to quick transfer music.
