I purchase iPhone 5s as a gift for my friend here in Kuwait at leading electronics. and send to India for there use. I like too ask if the phone will covers an international warranty in India ?

Normally no. iPhone warranties are usually restricted to the country of purchase with the exception of the EU which is considered one country for warranty purpose.
