On the right side of my dock, there's a bunch of documents which takes up a lot of space in my dock. Is there a way to clear the documents?

The items that are in the right side of your Dock are web pages and documents you have open in several apps, and minimised to the dock.
Click on each one to maximise and then close them if you aren't using them.
Right click on the items that are on the right hand side of vertical line ( it's called Stack ) and quit them .
Hi Carolyn Samit, I'm not able today to rearrange the order that my items are displayed in dock. In the past all I had to do was drag it to another location and it would move. Today, they won't move. Any suggestions? I hope you don't mind that I butted into this conversation, but I thought it would be easier than starting a new question.🙂 RRR
i did the click and hold method, but this is the only option that comes out
Click and hold a folder or document then click Options > Remove from Dock.
