Why cant I watch a movie?

I just bought and watched Captain America: Civil War on Sept. 4. It worked great that night, but whenever I have tried to watch it since, it just comes up to the start menu, and my entire iTunes app freezes, and then closes. I have Windows 10, completely updated and so is my iTunes. Also, all my other movies come up different whenever I try to watch them, like they come up to the watch from beginning, resume, etc..., and when I try to watch Civil War, that part doesnt come up. I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, and still have the problem.

Hello mthunter1998,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that after watching a movie purchase in iTunes once, you've been unable to successfully watch it again. I love watching good movies over and over again. I am here to help.
It sounds like you've done a great job trying to fix this on your own. When uninstalling iTunes it is very important that you remove iTunes and all components in a specific order. Please confirm that the steps in the link below were done accurately.

Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8

If the issue continues, I recommend deleting the movie and downloading it again from your past purchases list. Here's some additional information on past purchases.

Have an amazing day.
