How do I find the original printed page numbers in iBooks?

I often need a hard copy as I don't know the original page number. When teaching or in a group setting, people often refer to page numbers, and people with iBooks are lost.

iBooks would have better adoption if iBooks would just allow someone to search on an original page number and paragraph/sentence, or allow someone to select text and show the original page and paragraph/sentence.
