Q: Failed AppleID Verification

Every time I try to login to my AppleID by typing in my password on my iPhone 6, I get a response pop-up that says "Verification Failed Your Apple ID or password is incorrect." However, I can use the same password to login successfully to my Apple ID on my mac laptop.  Whenever, I try to just change the password and login in again on both devices it is successful on my laptop but not my phone.  Does anyone know what the problem is and how I can solve?

    Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities! It sounds like you are having issues signing into your Apple ID on your iPhone. I know how important it is to be sure your iPhone is connected to your Apple ID. What you should try is to follow the steps in this article: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

     

    Keep in mind to try and log in after each restart attempt to see if you are able to get signed in.
