macbook MMGG2LL/A

Dear team

I have just bought a whole new MacBook which has Part No: MMGG2LL/A, Serial No: C1*********3QF

The vendor tell me that it is the latest version which was produced in 2016. But after checking with your checkcoverage website, I found out my Mac was produced in early 2015.

So please clarify which is true, my MacBook was produced in 2015 or 2016.
