vertical distribution of objects still not fixed...

All new versions of Pages since iWork 09' gives wrong positionning when you choose to distribute objects vertically. It's a basic functionnality people needs very often and I really don't undestand why Apple didn't fix it...


I would appreciate that you test it yourself before answering for example by downloading my test file.


In the table below, I have four rectangles with different height in an initial position. In iWork 09' Pages I select all rectangles, I choose to align them to the left and then distribute them vertically : the result is in second column. Then I do exactly the same thing in new versions of Pages, and the result is in the third column.


As you can see iWork 09' does a good job, because gaps between rectangles have the same height. And this is absolutly not the case in new versions, with a very bad positionning.


I also have to mention that when there are more objects to distribute, the result is much more worth...
