Q: How to send iMovie to apple TV?

I created an iMovie which is 25mins long.  I have it stored on my iMac.  I want to be able to watch it on Apple TV.  How do I get it there?  Because it is over 15 minutes it says it can't go by iCloud?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

Thanks I had seen that but it was confusing as it says only 15 mins.  After some time my movie has appeared on the Apple TV but when I play it, it has stopped at 1.39 and I have a circle going round.  I have left it running I am hoping this is buffering and once it is on Apple TV next time I go to play it it will run straight through?  Is this right, I need to play it to an audience in a couple of days and don't want hiccups on the night!  Or is it a problem because of the 15 minutes business.

You can share your movie to iTunes and when you synch your apple tv to iTunes you can play your movie. I have an older apple tv and that works for me.

    Thanks Jim

I tried that and it seems to be working better.  It got to 23m10s without stalling, then it bufferred for a while and went to the end.  Would that not happen next time?  Or it that being caused by a poor signal from my imac to the TV?

Actually, this doesn't work as it say 25 mins is too long for icloud when I try to share to the Theater.  The itunes option seems to work.

Sounds like the data rate on your LAN is not fast enough for the data rate your movie is encoded for. Do a get info on your movie in iTunes and select file tab. That will show you the data rate. Sharing at 720p to iTunes gives you a bit over 5mb/s. If you shared at 1080p for example it would be higher. Compare your data rate with Apple TV specs to see if this is the issue.
