My daughter locked her IPod 5th gen touch by mistake when she keep using the wrong password to turn it back on? I have the original user name and password plus the new user name and password still will not unlock? We are the original owners and have had it set up for years

Does the ID and password work in iTunes or another Apple service like icloud.com?

yes it works with icloud but will not let ipod log into ITunes. I am logged onto ITunes just will not let Ipod In?
Are you sure you are using the correct ID?
If you are then contact Apple as in my previous reply. You may need proof of purdhase
Yes I got the right Id now I called tech support and we figured it out my 11 year old changed her Apple ID ?? and I spent half the morning getting it unlocked. Might want to keep it for another day just to see how she reacts? No I'm not that mean she's just growing up. Thanks you for all your help it lead me in the right direction 😊
