Every Update Disables WiFi (Greyed Out)

Greetings,

I have an iPad model MD785LL/A (WiFi version) that has an issue with updates. Every time there is an iOS update upon rebooting the WiFi is disabled and greyed out. The only time there is an issue with the WiFi toggle is directly after the update. A few days later it will suddenly begin working again and have no issues at all...until the very next iOS update.

ATM it is running iOS 9.3.5 (13G36) which I updated to a couple of days ago and once again the WiFi is greyed out. I've tried Resetting the Network, Toggling Airplane Mode, doing a Hard Reboot (Home+Power Button) to no avail.

Is anyone else facing this issue?

iPad, iOS 9.3.5

Why bother? Let's say you have an Apple device that you want to update the OS on, but you know that it will wreck your WiFi for days after...How would that make you feel?

This is not a hardware issue. It is an OS issue. I find it impossible to believe that there is a coincidence that the WiFi malfunctions only when I do an OS update.

Thank you for your time though!
