Sep 13, 2016 9:31 AM in response to BraulioOtanoby Ralph9430,1. Apple will release the Watch OS 3 update sometime today. A specific time was not provided but it usually happens around 10 AM to Noon Pacific Daylight Time (PDT).
2. You will need to update your iPhone to iOS 10 before you can update the Watch.

Sep 13, 2016 9:36 AM in response to BraulioOtanoby Hampton,★HelpfulI have also found over the past few updates that if you are a Public Beta tester on iPhone, it will not show a Watch OS being available even if you're running the latest iOS 10 version. You still have to delete the Public Beta profile on the phone (and watch, if you downloaded the Beta Watch profile for some reason - there is no public beta for Watch OS). Once you have deleted the Public Beta profile(s), restart your phone and watch. Then, update the phone and then the watch. Once all is good, you can reinstall the Public Beta iPhone profile, if you want.

Sep 13, 2016 11:49 AM in response to BraulioOtanoby lisamc12,I had the public profile on my phone but I think I had the golden master version of ios 10. I just downloaded it two days ago. I deleted the public profile on the phone, restarted both phone and watch, and still can't get watch io3 to show up in the software update screen. My phone says I'm running ios 10.0.1 when I check for software update. Any ideas?
