AFTER UPDATE 9.3.5 SOUND MISSING ON IPHONE 4S

I have had the iPhone 4S for a week or so now and everything was working fine, after update ios 9.3.5 "Keyboard Clicks" and "Lock Sounds" have stopped working. I have checked the sounds section of settings and both of these are set to on but the sounds still don't work. I have also noticed that certain apps have lost their sound as well. I have tried a full restore but that didn't do anything to help as far as I can tell, does anyone know why these sound have stopped working?

As long as you are backed up, attempt a Reset All Settings in Settings>General>Reset.

This may solve the issue. If it doesn't, you may need to restore the device to factory settings and set up as new.

In most cases a force restart will help and you will not lose any settings. You can do that by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.

Only if this does not work, proceed with setting it up as new device.
