Q: Movie has vanished from my itunes

I purchase all my movies through ITUNES via the Apple TV.    Periodically I will download a movie to my laptop and then delete after watching it, as I watch movies primarily on my TV.   Recently, and for the first time,   I discovered that after clearing the video file from my computer it was no longer displayed in my iTunes purchased library.

I checked through my iTunes "purchased items menu"  to find it missing there as well.   However,  if  I attempt to repurchase the movie a message appears telling me it's already purchased and presents the option to watch it.  How do I get back the missing video file into my library?
