Patchbay Labels

Hi I have a Behringer PX1000 and have put all my inputs and outputs through it although i dont have any labels on it. Does anyone know how i can get some templates or does anyone have any advice.

Thanks, Ben

Back when I did this I designed my own, for my three Behringer patchbays. It's not too hard, and I guess most people do this. I haven't seen any downloadable templates for these, so maybe someone's willing to share theirs? Be aware you'll need to software that was used to design them in order to edit them.

In any case, you'll need to do some work, as you'll need to label them for your own purposes, unless you want to print out generic ones and write on them in real ink... 😉

Ahh, patch bay labels... always a fun discussion. 🙂

I'm not familiar with the Behringer patch bays, but I'll assume there's space under every point for some kind of labeling.

My method, while certainly not glamorous, gets the job done, although not as conveniently as a template.

If you have access to a label maker, or can spring for one (there are models by the company Brother that are fairly inexpensive these days).

Fill it with white tape, choose a font size that will fit in the space provided on the patch bay, and make your own. You'll need to cut the labels to fit (which is tedious, to say the least), but the end result is very professional looking.

Just an option...
