I let my kids download an app (Roblox) that I'd prefer they not use anymore. I delete the app from my screen, but when I go back to the app store, it immediately lets me (or my kids) download/install it again without a password--presumably because I already downloaded it.
How can I get the app store to "forget" that I ever downloaded this app?

You can't. However you can go into the settings, general, restrictions - set a passcode and don't forget it or you'll have to wipe your device to get around it - then set it so that apps cannot be installed or deleted without needing that passcode.
