Sep 15, 2016 9:56 PM in response to Rivalfireby sterling r,★HelpfulHello Rivalfire,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
I see that you are not seeing the option to view lyrics for some songs. The most common reason for this is that the song you are listening to does not have lyrics available to view. You can try to download a new song or two and see if lyrics are available for those.
Best regards. -
Sep 14, 2016 1:27 PM in response to sterling rby B R Perry,I am having the same problem. I've tried a half dozen songs but nothing. Not sure if I'm missing something. Could you suggest a song that has lyrics so that I can test a specific song. On apple music, 5S, Canada.
On further trying, success!
If there are lyrics you will see the word "Lyrics" in bold just below the volume slider with a show or hide option.
You have to slide up the song page about a centimeter to see the titles.
If there are no lyrics then the next title you see will be "Up Next".

Sep 15, 2016 10:21 PM in response to sterling rby Rivalfire,The custom lyrics on my iPhone before the iOS 10 update where there. Now the lyrics option does not show on songs that I know have lyrics sense the update . I have wiped my phone clean. Did not restore from backup. Resynced my music over to my iPhone from iTunes, and still no lyrics.

Sep 16, 2016 7:53 AM in response to Rivalfireby Leandro_Brazil,I have the same problem... I have added tons of lyrics on my iTunes for years, and now Apple Music will not show you ANY custom lyrics (or manually added lyrics) - even worst, it is not allowing SoundHound to also display the lyrics.
Currently I am looking for an alternative to listen to my own library on my iPhone, otherwise if I cannot find a good alternative, it would be the first time, I will have to go back to Sony Xperia (which was a descent phone with an excellent camera)... Every update the Apple Music gets worst.

Sep 17, 2016 7:29 AM in response to Rivalfireby omenlo,Alright
So i read other posts and was facing similar problem. In my case NONE of my songs displayed or recognized that i had manually entered lyrics
what somehow works is this:
Some of them fix just by opening the info area and checking the lyrics part. Literally opening and pressing '>' so that itunes can recognize that as a 'change' (however little).
Some other of my songs just f*ck up. menaing the lyrics display "as
this
and
its
anoyying"
Looking on how to fix this.... is anyone has any other fix please Speak UP!!! i have hundreds of songs (in several languages) and cant see my lyrics!
Hope this helps!
