Invisible Ink in iMessage not working iOS10

After two chat sessions, a restore, a recovery mode restore, and two engineers on the phone for 40 minutes we discovered that reduced motion actually needed to be off (on my iPhone 6+) not on. Try toggling because I guess your results may vary.

MY moms phone has the same issue I sent her a text using the new features and she gets a text saying what feature was used

I actually had to turn reduced motion off to make it work.

I can confirm that the setting does not matter. You just need to change it. I have just turned it off.

i have multiple iPhone 6s's that I am testing. One specifically can send all these but only receives them as regular with effect following as a text. I have tried with the reduce motion on and with the reduce motion off. neither way has worked. I have matched all settings between this iPhone and another iPhone that does send and receive both messages as invisible ink. The one iPhone can only send not receive. Any other place to look?

No. Apparently you have to turn OFF reduced motion. That really ***** for ppl like myself that have reduced motion turned off to save battery life. Oh well.

I too have turned of the reduce motion, reboot, restore and nothing worked.

i was having issues too ... then i realized since i'm new to the iPhone 6s, i didn't realize that you have to give added pressure into the screen to enable the feature.

YYou have to turn motion off and when you try to use it .you must push down harder on the send arrow to bring up invisible ink

I have tried EVERYTHING and mine STILL doesnt work! It worked with normal ios 10 but not with the new ios 10.1.2

Since I'm new to iStuff the hard press is not second nature. TYSM!

I turned off Reduced Motion and it doesnt work.

But i just thought of turning off my 3D Touch and it worked after that.
