Q: iTunes update 12.5.1

Anyone getting error code 13014 after updating to iTunes 12.5.1 today .

Will not start up even after reboot.

MacBook, OS X Yosemite (10.10)

A:

Resolved issue by moving my library from external drive to my Mac restarted iTunes and chose new location of library

and all is well. Sorry had failed to mention that library was on external although it should not have happened since it has never failed to recognize the library there with other iTunes updates.

I've been getting error 18003 (?) and iCloud errors like a lot of people today. But no one has mentioned iTunes not even starting. Maybe try re-installing it? These are the most common problems thus far: Apple Music not functioning

This thread may be of some help: iTunes error 13014 as it may have to do with having a device connected during the update, OR Genius issues... worth a read.
