iOS 10 iPad Pro mail bug

I just installed iOS 10 on my iPhone and ipad Pro. On my iPad Pro when reading a messa in the Mail app, the up and down arrows to move to the next or previous message are no longer shown. They do appear on my iPhone. I have tried rebooting, which didn't help. I called a friend and they are having the same problem. This seems like a major bug!
