iTunes Update Backup Corruption

I was using the iOS 10 GM up until today when I tried backing up my device to iTunes. However, a notice pops-up saying it is unable to backup because my backup is corrupt and iTunes suggests I delete my backups. This is where the mistake happens, I delete my backup and try to sync again but the notice keeps showing up. I end up purchasing an program online that can repair my backup for $29.99 called Decipher Backup Repair. However, after the entire process, it restores all my apps but does not restore the content in them such as pictures and does not restore my messages. I am furious and want a solution. For some reason, my old backup prior to this issue can be found in Decipher Backup Repair but I am unable to find it in my Mac on my own.
