iOS 10: where are the lyrics in apple music I used to have under iOS9?

Pre iOS 10 in the music app, I used to be able to tap on the albumcover of the song and see the lyrics. Now, there are no lyrics at all. They are still in iTunes when I open the information of the particular song but the feature under iOS10 is lost. When I tap the ..., there are no lyrics either. In iTunes, I have lyrics for over 5000 songs. When I am not able to see them in the music app anymore, this is hardly an improvement. I will have to go back to iOS 9.

Same problem. *****! Absolutely sloppy work. I was looking forward to getting the iPad Pro 2 when it came out. This kind of sloppy stupidity from Apple might just make me reconsider that. The remove then resync solution only partially works for me...and it takes an hour to reload my music. Disgusted....

I noticed some songs lyrics are viewable in iOS10 but some not, this must be a bug in iOS10.

Apple, please fix this...

Same there mate. And I agree that there were some songs where the lyrics could be viewed, while some could not. In general I was so peeved off at the new Music app (ugly aesthetics, difficult to use) that I downgraded back to iOS 9. Until Apple brings the iOS 9 music app back (which worked perfectly fine), I refuse to upgrade. 😠

Switching back ti iOS9. Music is even worse than before. I am sorry, apple, but the iPod-app was the best.

In general not impressed with iOS10.

Try unsyncing the music and resyncing.

And... tacháaaaaaannnn, runs fine now and I see the lyrics of my songs, now runs fine and perfect

This worked for me on iPhone 6S+. Basically you have to remove all music & then put it back on device (Sync). Thanks!!

Truly... Not impressed with their invention to this Big Big Elephant Size fonts used Everywhere and also for cartoonist type Emojis. #iOS10 😟 Upgraded only iPhone with this stupid release ever but I'm not planning to do this stupidity again on my iPad

I am having the same problem too......after my iPhone upgrade to iOS 10 some of the lyris are gone in Music.....but they are still in my computer iTune.......

Mine too! It's the end of 2016, and still the lyrics are not consistent on my iPhone. Some are showing up, some are not. I am always frustrated when apple updates to new iOS, they always come up with something not useful.

Wake up Apple!

It was so easy with iOS 9 ... tap the album cover and bingo ...

iOS 10 has made it almost impossible to view lyrics ... more than irritating, Apple. Are you listening?
