Does anyone know how to disable the predictive text feature in Messages on iOS10?
Previously I was able to swipe dow to get rid of it but that doesn't seem to work anymore.

Then toggle Predictive OFF.

Having this problem as well as super, mega, ultra, turbo-annoying auto-correct on a brand-new ipad Pro with latest 10.1.1 update. Predictive and auto-correct are toggled off, ipad has been restarted. On the whole, this ipad Pro seems to be buggy as ****, with numerous problems I don't have with my ipad mini and iphone 6s, MacBook Pro or any previous generation iOs device I've had. I have ample experience with settings in iOs.
you press & hold the emoji button on the keyboard or by the mic button and switch predictive to off
Hi Gilbert, thanks for your reply to fuzzyfizz. I just got a 7s and my texts were correcting in French. Tried keyboards in setings etc. without success but your way worked great.
