Q: iOS3 on older watch

my watch is an year old can i still install iOS3 and how is to be done? if i am open my watch app on my phone it don't show me upgrade.

Yes.

Make sure your iPhone software is up to date before updating your Apple Watch.

On your iPhone tap Settings > General > Software Update

Then update your Apple Watch > Update the software on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

i have the new iOS10 on my Phone and i thought iOS3 is out today. i run iOS10 as beta on my phone before but not on the watch.

You may find that removing the beta profile and restarting your iPhone helps.

Re: As it can be seen in the webpage OS 3 will be available today Sept 13. However my Watch App doesnt seem to see the update as available. When I go to software update it keeps saying my watch is up to date with OS 2.2.2. Will OS3 be available today?

Thank you for the response. i did updated my phone to the news 10, but still when i open the watch app its tells my my watch is up to date iOS2.2.1 ):

thank you for your help. after removing on watch and phone the beta profile and restarting both devices the upgrade on the watch came up
