iOS 10 - Emoji's not appearing in predictive text

It fixed my problem! I just bought the iPhone 8 plus and the predictive emoji wasn't working!

I don't know if you got your issue resolved yet or not. If you send yourself multiple emojis it will start to populate them in the suggestion bar. I had tried everything too and came across the thread telling you to send to yourself. I just sent them to one of those automated text I had received. They started to populate after a couple of messages. I still don't know how they are getting the phone numbers and email addresses to show though.

Yes - I'm seeing the same issue. The only thing I haven't tried is a complete restore, but I was hoping to avoid that.

Yes, same issue here. I ended up rebooting the phone almost 7 times by doing all the processes like reset dictionary, remove/add keyboard, but nothings helps. Using iPhone 6s Plus.

Also the feature of adding phone number or email suggestion like when you write "My number is" is not working.

Yes I see the same issue on both iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2. And for what it's worth, the iPhone 6 I'm using was clean out of the box from the Apple Store today, so I don't know that a full reset would help. I suspect this will end up being a bug fix in 10.0.1 or something like that.

Reading the below article it appears that this is a 'learned behaviour'.

I have been using the iOS 10 Beta for some time and this seems to be a gradual thing. My Wife's iPhone 6 freshly updated today does not offer it (yet?)

We are going to keep using the Emoji on the 6 and see what happens.

Really?? That means when you have started using the ios10 beta, initially it did not appear. But later it appeared?

I am asking for the emoji prediction and both the email and number from contact suggestion feature..please confirm

I started using the Beta what seems to be a long time ago but from what I remember it did take a while for Emoji suggestions to appear. As I said we are going to perceiver with the iPhone 6 (at least till Friday when her 7 should arrive) and see what happens. I suppose the 7 will work along the same lines so I would expect that to also learn the Wife's Emoji usage behaviour as she uses it.

I have never sent a phone number or email (either my own or anyone else's) via message. I work in the Security industry and don't freely share either my own or others data.
