I have addresses in my send list that contain typos and they do not appear to be connected to any of my email accounts. They show up in the list of senders each time I send an email. How do I edit this list to delete sender names that I don't use. I'm on El Capitan

Try going to Mail/Window/Previous Recipients and delete them there.
I'm not referring to my recipients list. I would like to edit my senders list. have several email accounts, when I go to send an email the list of possible senders (for all my account) can be called up. My list contains several outdated or otherwise incorrect sender addresses. I'd like to find out how to edit this list.
