How to take a screenshot with IOS 10 ?

Taking screenshots is the same within iso10 as with Operating systems. Very easy.

It doesn't work to do it the old way!!!

I have no problem performing a forced restart (holding down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple Logo appears or taking a screenshot in iOS 10. The way that I take a screen shot is to hold the sleep button and then quickly tap the home button. It even works when I hold both buttons at the same time. I do not invoke Siri either when trying the forced restart.

Have you considered resetting all settings? It's a pain to enter all of the settings again, but it might help....with emphasis on might.

You can take the screenshots the same way you always have unless you broke you phone

Hold the screen lock button and then push the home button.

Same as before.

Briefly hold down the power button and the home button at the same time.

At least that is true on my iPad I just updated to iOS 10.

First press Home Button (and hold it pressed).

Soon press Power Button.

Soon release Power Button.

Now release Home Button.

Press and hold the Power button on the right side and click the Home button at the EXACT same time. (This helps ensure you don't activate Touch ID or Siri by accident while trying to take your screenshot.)

Yeah it kind of changed a bit. It was already very finicky before, but now instead of Home -> Power, I press Power -> Home, and it works half of the time. But it takes some getting used to...

SCREEN SHOT NO LONGER WORKS IN IOS 10 ON MY IPHONE 6S.

HAVE TRIED SIMULTANEOUS HOME BUTTON AND OFF BUTTON (WHICH USED TO WORK) AS WELL AS PRESSING THEM IN SEQUENCE.

IMPORTANT BUG IN IOS 10.

Screen shot is broken in iOS 10.

No longer works on my 6s.

Tried simultaneous power and home, as well as in sequence.

Important bug!!!

This was the case with me as well. Had to push them both at exactly the same time, not hold one then push the other. Also I'm having siri pop up when doing a forced restart. This is on my 5s.

oké for iPhone, but this isn't working anymore on iPad Air after update iOS10 😠

The traditional way of taking a screenshot does not work since I upgraded my iPhone 6s to iOS 10. Any suggestions?

Don't touch the home button with your thumb, use your fingernail. I had the same issue and this worked.
