Q: An easy way to tell if macbook pro hacked?
We have all the latest OSX updates and a simple home set-up with cable broadband and an internal modem broadcasting wireless to a Macbook Pro (plus an Air and three iPhones, Apple TV).
Sometimes, when we sit down at the Mac, a file maybe open, or an email, a photo, or an app etc. Often enough to make us wonder if something's up, rather than assume we've wrongly clicked something. We have a worrying, problem neighbour close and it wouldn't be much of a stretch of the imagination to think he was interfering somehow.
Although we know our way round Macs, we can't understand things like the Activity Monitor. Is there a really easy, layman's way to tell if we are being hacked or interfered with? The simplest way? Please.
