Recovering Lost Projects
After working for weeks on a project from a hard drive, after disconnecting my HD and reconnecting, my projects have all disappeared. How do I recover them?

Shut everything down then reboot your Mac with external connected.
Rather than open FCP X Application, double click the Library icon that contains the Projects on your external.
If that doesn't work, look for a Backup in Users>Home>Movies>Final Cut Backups.
