iphone 5s ios 10 alarm, wrong sound

I installed the ios 10 update yesterday but now my alarm sound is the generic sonar and not my custom tone it is set as. Has anyone else had this issue?

The new iOS could change the settings you've done before. Try to change your sound and restart iPhone.

we are also experiencing this problem and nothing we've tried has worked, including changing and restarting.

The only thing that worked was erasing my iPhone and restoring from an iTunes back up. This unfortunately wiped my purchased tones from my phone so I had to sync from iTunes.
