user accounts

So, I created a second user on my iMac and was on my original user account and it let me go into the Advanced settings and it had a spot to change the name and iCloud account- so i changed it without really thinking it through. Now on my computer i have two user names one is the original the second is the new one but if i log into both of them everything is gone. everything on my desktop all my photos is gone. I did not have time machine turned on. is there any other way to go back. I don't have apple care and i'm panicking that i've lost everything.
