Q: Activity sharing not working at all

In my case, no recover from backup. Simple apple watch unpair then pair back with the iPhone.

Unpairing and re-pairing my watch fixed the issue.  Thanks!!

On one watch, I unpaired and then paired again. Fixed issue! On another watch, had to start as brand new to fix. All working now!

HI. Thanks for this. I tried restoring from backup, but get the same result. I can see my friend on the watch and the phone,  but both show no data.

I don't really want to do a fresh watch un-pair and re-pair as I'll loose my calibration data.

Maybe ill just wait for a patch.

After un-pairing and re-pairing, my friends now show up on my Apple Watch activity app. However, 1 of them still shows 0% activity, the other is updating as it should.

The ones showing 0, the issue is from their end. They need to do the unpair/repair on their end as well.

Apple can't expect the world to unpair and re-pair their phones.

They need to fix this ASAP

After I re-paired they are able to see my data. After they re-paired I am still unable to see their data update (shows as 0%). Restored from backup in both cases.

I took the advise of one of the posts and went thru the process un pairing and then pairing both my wife's and my apple watch again and  now activity sharing works properly.

The whole reset took about an hour. 

Update: Within a few hours of my friend repairing everything is working as it should.

I've done nothing and now after a couple of days my invitations are sending with no errors.  Now let's see if my invitations are accepted and the sharing works.

So my mate accepted my invite. My watch shows his sharing data correctly but my phone shows 0%

Rebooted my phone and now all works. I think it's Apple servers. I did not pair/unpair my watch.

One thing I've noticed. If the other person has a different calorie goal the % comparision between you both becomes kind of pointless.

This solved the issue for me within 15 minutes of being repaired.

My friend re-paired his watch, now I can see his data.
