Missing '#images' search button in iMessages (iOS10)

So I've realized there's no '#images' search button in the apps section of the iMessage.

That one:

I checked the manage section hoping it was just disabled but it was not the case. It wasn't there either.

I checked the AppStore as I thought maybe it's an additional download like stickers made by Apple but I also didn't find it.

Normally I would try a restore, but I have almost 90GB of music saved for offline listening so I'm not going to do that.

Now, there's a thing. I travel a lot and I'm currently in Africa. My only logical guess is that it works only in the States (same as Wikipedia results in Spotlight back in the day)

Has anyone come across this problem? Is there a solution or at least an explanation?

I contacted Apple Support about it.

Your location is the key factor here.

I'm temporarily staying in Egypt and that's why this problems occurred.

I asked my friends back in the States and there's no problem there.

So you're probably located in some forgotten by Apple country. The only thing you can do is pray to SJ and wait. 😉
