Q: Download MusicMemos for iOS9

Why I cannot download MusicMemos for iOS 9 to my iPad 2 after iOS 10 release. I can have the older version there, but I really need that app :-)

 

And there is the iOS 9 requirement on Memos site: https://www.apple.com/music-memos/

  • Music Memos requires iOS 9.1 or later and is compatible with iPhone 4s or later, iPad Pro, iPad Air or later, iPad (3rd generation) or later, and iPad mini or later.

    Hello JendaZ,

    After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are trying to install Music Memos with an iOS device using iOS 10. You are correct in pointing out that the app requires an iPad 3rd generation. You mentioned that are using an iPad 2, which is not compatible with those requirements.

    I bought an Ipad 3rd gen in order to use Music Memos and the drum app in Garage Band, based on the copy in your web page ad.

     

    So now I have a 3rd gen IPad running 9.3.5, which obviously meets the criteria in your ads, but in ITunes I'm told I must have an IOS 10 device.

     

    What options are there to remedy my situation?
