Q: Transferring photos from iPhone without USB

I have just purchased a new MacBook which obviously doesn't have a USB port, I have no idea how to get my photos from my iPhone to the Photos app on my MacBook, I used to connect via USB and Photos would pick up my iPhone to sync, but I can't do that now.

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5

    There are some options:

    1) You can sync your iPhone with your MacBook wirelessly. On your MacBook look in Help for iTunes (menubar) and search for Sync your device over a Wi-Fi network.

    2) If you use iCloud Photo Library you can synchronize your photo libraries that way. Again, look in Help, this time for Photos and search for

Keep your photos and videos up to date everywhere with iCloud Photo Library

Depending on the size of your photo library you may need to buy more iCloud storage space.

    3) I assume (though I haven't done it) that if you bought a USB-C adaptor

that you could connect your iPhone and sync as you usually do.

Questions? Maybe you have tried one or more of these suggestions and had problems?
