Q: Stuck on recovery mode after updating to ios 10?

Is anyone else stuck on recovery mode after updating to ios 10? My phone crashed while updating to ios 10 and kept on rebooting until I got stuck on the cable and itunes logo on my screen. It's been over 9 hours since my phone became useless. Anyone else out there who had the same problem? How did you fix yours?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5

    Hello ErikaPags,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Community. I know how important it is to keep your devices running as expected, and I'd like to help with yours. Once your phone is in recovery mode the only option we really have is to restore your phone using iTunes on your computer. I would recommend manually restarting recovery mode and restoring using the instructions in this article : If you can‘t update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

If you have a backup of your device you can then restore your data to your phone using the steps in this article : Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup

If you run into any further trouble, the entire community is here to help.
    Best regards
