Q: Unable to open iTunes libraries since 12.5.1 update

I applied the new iTunes 12.5.1 update yesterday and since then I have been unable to open any of my iTunes libraries.  I have three libraries in all, each stored on external disk, and I get the following error when I attempt to open the libraries:

"An iTunes library file cannot be found in the folder <foldername>.  Please choose a different folder."

I also sometimes receive an unknown error 13010 message, so I have deleted the Genius .itdb file for each library to no effect.

I'm running Mac OS X - not had any problems with using iTunes and libraries on an external drive since yesterday.  Does anyone have a similar issue or ideas on how to fix?

Thanks.
