I got an iMac and a macbook Pro retina both with nvidia graphics cards... While plugging an external monitor, the whites are darker and the blacks are lighter. While plugging this same screen on a macPRO with AMD card, the blacks are perfectly black, and the whites are perfectly white...
While using my external screen on my computer (iMac, and macbook Pro) but this time under Windows 10, my screen displays normal lights.
Why with a mac under mac os x with nvidia graphic cards, the lights are wrong ?
Suspecting a bad signal to be sent to the external monitor with nvidia graphic card...
Seems to have a 16-236 signal instead of 0-255.
iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)
