Whenever I send a sketch I get a digital message from myself to myself. I thought maybe it was because my wife is on the apple family share so I tried it with a coworker and it still happened. It also happens to him as well. Is there something Im missing? On my phone the message says its from me and its a blank black box in the messages app.

If you have not yet done so, it may help to update your iPhone and Apple Watch to the latest software, starting with your iPhone:
Everything is update and even did a reset on both devices. However I think I see whats happening. The watch gets the sketch but then the phone gets a notification about the sketch so the watch is giving a 2nd notification for the phone. Not sure if that makes sense.
