Ipod Restore

Yes, that sounds like probably an appropriate amount of space being used by the update...if you meant to write "GB" in place of "MB", of course, that's a different story. 😉

Since the iPod updater contains the software for all iPods that is why the file is so large.

The updater is smart enough to recognise which model iPod is connected and installs the appropriate software.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what your concern is?

You will only ever have one software version installed on your iPod at any one time.

Even if you were to update the software at a later date, the version you have currently would be replaced with the newer one.

It has to be there so there's nothing you can do.

is there another way to restore ipod because i cant find the button. I go into summary in itunes but i swear to you there is no restore button,unless its to the right side of the screen but it wont let me move to the right.
